It is raining prizes at SIMSR this year

SIMSR, over the years, has imbibed participating and winning competitions in its culture. It currently has close to 900 aspiring managers who enthusiastically participate and emerge successful in various co-curricular activities along with their attention to academics. SIMSRites actively participated in various competitions conducted around the year by Industry, NGOs, and various b-Schools in the country and abroad. Organizations like Nissan, HUL, Cognizant, CEAT Tires; NGOs like ENACTUS (SIFE), Lions Club Mumbai, Armaan Foundation, and b-Schools like Cornell University, IIM L, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIFT Delhi, SIMSREE are a few among them.
The students have won close to 50 in the year of 2012 and the counter is still ticking. They have shown their calibre in various areas ranging from stock trading to ad-making to case studies to debates to business ideas.
Harsh Goyal from SIMSR won the competition for ‘Best Summer Project’ conducted by IMCI. Roshan Singh Nagi won several debate competitions organized by Lions Club, Mithibai College and several other big names. He also won the IMT case study competition competing with colleges like JBIMS, IMT Nagpur, IIT Madras and GLIM. Kiranpreet Brar and Disha Goel won Samavaha-Ad-Kriti organized by GLIM Chennai. Students like Tanmay Bhandari collaborated with student from other colleges like IIM-C to stand as 2nd runner up in the Cognizant Boardroom Competition.
SIMSR has always tried to foster an environment of healthy competition for the overall personality development of its budding managers. The initiatives taken in this regard have vastly increased the intellectual capital of SIMSR over the years.
